Phlebotomy Technician

The Phlebotomy Technician certification program is designed to teach entry level phlebotomy skills to students interested in pursuing a career in Phlebotomy. This 100 Contact Hour program includes comprehensive curriculum that will prepare the novice Phlebotomy student for the ethical, theoretical and technical knowledge required to become a competent Phlebotomist. Students will complete lectures and hands-on training in the clinical laboratory setting using Phlebotomy simulation models and specialized training equipment. Satisfactory completion of both the classroom and laboratory portions of the course is required. Upon satisfactory completion of the course, the student will be eligible to take the National Health Career Association (NHA) Certification Exam.
